    Beneath the Real Alcázar of Seville lies one of Spain’s most atmospheric spaces — the Maria Padilla Baths, a series of vaulted chambers dating back to the 14th century. Named after the legendary María de Padilla, mistress of King Peter the Cruel, these underground cisterns once stored rainwater for the palace above. Today, they remain a hidden treasure, their still waters and soaring Gothic arches exuding an almost otherworldly calm.

    In The Warm Portal, golden light floods the arches, mirrored perfectly in the glassy surface below. The rich amber tones lead the eye toward a cool blue glow at the far end, creating a natural gradient from warmth to mystery. Every curve, reflection, and shadow is perfectly symmetrical, drawing you deeper into the scene as if stepping through time.
