London, United Kingdom
In this serene fine art photograph, the London Eye hovers in quiet motion over the River Thames, captured in the early hours when the city has yet to stir. Taken from the South Bank, the image frames the historic County Hall with its distinctive green domes beneath a soft winter sky. The long exposure smooths the water into a luminous surface, while the slow rotation of the Eye introduces a gentle blur, a meditation on time and architecture. Subtle toning and atmospheric glow enhance the contrast between old and new London, bringing a painterly calm to this iconic view.

Acrylic Prints
This photograph is available as a premium acrylic-mounted fine art print, created in collaboration with WhiteWall, Europe’s leading professional photo lab trusted by galleries and museums worldwide. Each piece is produced through a meticulous, multi-stage process that preserves every nuance of tone and colour.

The Process
The image is first printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Glossy paper using state-of-the-art laser exposure, achieving exceptional sharpness and tonal depth. It is then face-mounted under 2 mm of crystal-clear glossy acrylic glass, which gives the surface its luminous, almost three-dimensional quality. A 5 cm white border surrounds the image, allowing it to breathe and enhancing its sense of space within the frame.
Behind the print lies a rigid aluminium Dibond backing, ensuring perfect flatness and long-term stability. The piece is completed with the Basel 15 mm dark oak frame — a refined solid-wood surround that adds warmth and sophistication while keeping the image itself as the focus.
